Stafford Purvis is a native of Baltimore, Maryland with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.  Prior to joining DSPolitical, Stafford led community outreach programs in the inner city of Baltimore, Maryland, During his College career, He was heavily involved with the NAACP Political Action Committee as well as a member and male ally/advocate for the National Council of Negro Women section at Spelman College.  Served under the AFL-CIO as a selected intern for the Union Summer program, working with unions in the deep south through AFSCME .  Advocating for unions fed his current love for politics, and law.  He is currently a second year law student- a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law fraternity, as well as the Black Law Students Association.

Stafford believes that representation is the first step in creating equality for all genders and races, and aims to achieve that goal through being an attorney, as well as influencing politics, that is why DSPolitical was the right choice.

When not working, Stafford can be found writing plays, filming videos and shooting photos that represent the disparities found amongst minorities as compared to others in the country
