Shelbi has experience working in non-profits, for-profits, and both the political and non-political space, but providing support for progressive causes and candidates is where she feels most at home.

Shelbi also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sichuan, China, teaching English, public speaking, and intercultural competency. Prior to serving in China she graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a dual degree in Marketing and Communication Studies and published an undergraduate thesis titled, “Somebody Has to Pay Rent: The Critical Autoethnography of a Low Income Student”

Outside of work Shelbi loves attending concerts, trying new recipes, and traveling. Her favorite place in the world is sitting over the warm grill of her favorite BBQ joint in Seoul, South Korea.
