In collaboration with Rising Tide Interactive, DSPolitical partnered with Voto Latino, a grassroots organization focused on educating and empowering Latinx voters, to run targeted digital GOTV campaigns in Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania for the 2020 general election.
In 2020 alone, over 20.6 million Latinx voters voted in the presidential election, that’s over a 60% increase from previous presidential elections. Efforts to turnout the Latinx vote are critical to securing a Biden presidency!
DSPolitical helped Voto Latino achieve victories across the country including in key battleground states:
- Across Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, and North Carolina, 33% of Latinx early votes came from voters who did not cast a ballot in 2016.
- In Pennsylvania, Latinx early voting was up 840% compared to 2016.
- Latinx early voting was also up 148% in North Carolina, 133% in Florida, 124% in Arizona, 147% in Texas, and 147% in Nevada.
With DSPolitical’s best-in-class voter targeting technology and custom list matching, we were able to find these voters where they were online through social, Connected TV, and programmatic digital.
We created an immersive digital experience for this audience with advanced segmentation through Catalist and TargetSmart data, including segments on personalized vote history such as people who voted in 2012 but not 2016. Additionally, with Voto Latino’s custom lists, DSPolitical was able to implement RADIUS-based targeting, running pre-roll videos on mobile devices on voters within key geographies.
Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia were crucial for a Democratic presidential victory this year. With 50.9 percent of the vote in favor of Biden, efforts to turn out the vote helped make this historic win possible.
We’re proud to have played a role in driving voters to the polls! DSPolitical’s match rates of up to 90% mean more voters are seeing ads reminding them to vote, combating misinformation, and providing resources on requesting mail-in-ballots.
