Prior to joining DSPolitical, Cameron worked in national security and for the Michigan Democratic Party. At the Center for a New American Security, Cameron provided analysis and supported programming relating to transatlantic security, support for Ukraine, and the future of transatlantic security. In 2024, Cameron was a field organizer on the Harris Campaign, working to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh. Having moved from Oklahoma to Scotland to the District of Columbia, he enjoys bringing a global perspective to his work.

In his spare time, Cameron can be found exploring new parts of the East Coast, spending time with his partner and cats, and volunteering with the YMCA.
