Diego Tejada Castillo is a Media Planning Intern at DSPolitical. Originally from Oklahoma, he is passionate about political communication, civic engagement, and the ways strategic messaging can engage and mobilize communities.

Diego is a rising senior at Georgetown University studying Government and Justice & Peace Studies. At Georgetown, he serves as Chair of Engagement for The Corp, the world’s largest entirely student-run nonprofit organization. He also serves as Secretary of the Advisory Board for Student Organizations and has held multiple leadership roles within the Student Advocacy Office. His experience leading large student organizations has sparked an interest in the intersection of public outreach, media, and politics.

Outside of work and academics, Diego enjoys going to the movies, keeping up with pop culture, and cooking for friends. He is excited to continue exploring how strategic communications can connect people with the issues and causes that matter most to them.
