Gerald graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2025, where he studied Physics and Political Science. Before DSPolitical, he worked as teacher aide/co-teacher for a high school statistics class and was a research assistant for a NC governor campaign. Gerald has focused his interest in data analysis and public opinion to uncover insights in politics/policy.

Outside of his professional work, Gerald is passionate about education and literacy and for fun you can catch him watching anime, playing competitive Yugioh, playing pickup basketball and practicing magic tricks with a deck of cards.
