Malaika Rehman is an intern at DSPolitical. She is a third-year at the University of Virginia’s Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, double majoring in Politics. Prior to joining DSPolitical, Malaika gained hands-on campaign experience working on Governor Spanberger’s and VA Delegate Josh Thomas’s campaigns, where she focused on community outreach and voter contact. At UVA, she serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Policy Review, writes for The Cavalier Daily, and is a student-consultant for Formative Change Group.

When she’s not working, Malaika can be found perfecting her coffee and matcha order (or experimenting with them in her own kitchen), taking walks, or picking up her violin.
