Malcolm is a Senior Data Engineer at DSPolitical. Before DSPolitical, he worked as a data engineer at several financial companies. He came into data engineering after graduating with a B.S. in biochemistry and starting his first job as a clinical data manager. There he discovered SQL, and he hasn’t looked back since. Now, after several years of experience in various data roles, he joined DSPolitical to work in a place that better aligns with his values.

He has lived in several places throughout his childhood, including Hawaii, San Diego, and Malaysia. He is now settled in Silver Spring, Maryland, with his wife and his two cats. Malcolm loves to collect new hobbies and interests. In the past few years, he got his blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, ran a half marathon, and is now obsessed with rock climbing. When he’s at home, he likes to wind down by trying new recipes, playing video games, being part of fantasy LARPs, and regularly attending his favorite live music venues in DC.
