Tim Kovacs is a Senior Data Engineer at DSPolitical. With 2 decades of data engineering experience, Tim is well-versed in database design, data ingestion, and making sense from all the noise. Prior to joining DSPolitical, Tim was the Senior Principal Data Engineer at The Knot Worldwide, having worked there for 12 years. Tim also worked on the Hillary Clinton for President campaign and was the 2nd employee at NGP Software, helping bring the desktop experience to the web.

Tim loves to travel – having lived abroad in China for 3 years and experiencing much of Southeast Asia. This has left him an unquenchable desire for delicious ramen. Whether around the DC region or traveling, Tim likes to play disc golf – ever chasing that elusive hole in one.
