GOOGLE LIFTS POLITICAL AD BAN

WASHINGTON, DC – WASHINGTON, DC – Today, responding to news that Google has lifted its post-November election ban on political digital ads, DSPolitical, the nation’s leading voter targeted digital advertising firm for Democrats, released a statement calling on Facebook and other companies to do the same:

“Google did the right thing — I just wish this decision had been made a month ago. Blanket ad bans hurt challengers and this is especially detrimental to the Democrats fighting to gain control of the US Senate in Georgia. We now encourage others like Facebook to join Google in taking their thumbs off the scale by lifting their ad ban and putting a stop to the spread of false election information,” said Mark Jablonowski, managing partner, and chief technology officer of DSPolitical.
